Veal is known for its high quality, tenderness and intensity of flavour. The fine-grained texture of our veal makes it tangibly tender and versatile to prepare. Veal in general is easy to digest and low in cholesterol.

Allegra McEvedy , however, thinks it's better than the foregin muck. And eating the young of another animal isn't considered abhorrent in this country - how many of us tuck into lamb on a regular basis? Isn't eating a free range baby sheep essentially the same as eating a free range baby cow?
